Program Summary:

The EmeraldPlanet program for April 18th will share valuable insights to our world-wide viewers on the importance of directly working with marginal and poor ethnic groups in developing and developed countries.  This will reduce the possibilities for radicalized armed violence to overthrow existing societies within which these movements ferment.  One of the best known and proven "best practices" to directly confront radical religious and armed rebellions in the developing world is in the Philippines.

This television program will weave the topics of:  education; health care, agricultural and fisheries development, entrepreneurship; along with  legislative support for equal opportunities in developing nations; and how to reduce discrimination against the poor and marginalized communities  in developing societies as "best practices" to enhance the new World 'green' economy.  These topics will be provided by Mr. Santoli in four 13-minute segments each with its own unique sustainable development project.  This international organization is reaching those citizens which have been marginalized for hundreds of years mostly forgotten by the central government and multinational corporations.

As you may know EmeraldPlanet is a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to identifying at least 1,000 'best practices' for sustainable environmental and economic development.  Our efforts are to link those having such "best practices" with those needing the technologies, processes, services, and products to be outstanding ecological stewards of their resources.
