Program Summary:Today is a most interesting program. We
have three internationally ranked experts from China presenting about
the phenomenal changes happening in that country. Each of us have our
impressions of China's environment before the
2008 Olympics. In preparation for the Olympics China invested some
US$30billion in new infrastructure. Combined with an emphasis upon
'green' technologies and internationally recognized environmental
standards over the past decade these major changes will
be continuing well into the 21st Century. Many of these changes are
being recognized by the United Nations, the World Bank, the
International Monetary Fund (IMF), and other international organizations
as "best practices" for developing countries and what we
label as the 'developed' world. As you may know EmeraldPlanet is
a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to identifying at least
1,000 'best practices' for sustainable environmental and economic
development. Our efforts are to link those having such "best
practices" with those needing the technologies, processes, services, and
products to be outstanding ecological stewards of their resources. Please support The Emerald Planet Television and The Emerald Trek through your generous donations of US$25, US$50, or US$100. Click the donations button to make your contributions now!
THANK YOU AS TOGETHER WE CREATE THE EMERALDPLANET!
