| Program Summary:
These
four outstanding entrepreneurs and leaders of CEO Space will be providing
information to our world-wide viewers
on the role of
in
the new world 'green' economy. The topics
of leadership, innovation for new technologies to address the critical
issues of climate change, alternative energy production, safe drinking
water, the role of youth, jobs skill training,
and legislative support for equal
opportunities, among other topics as "best practices" in the
21st Century
will be discussed.
It
is estimated by the United
States Department of Labor over
15 million citizens are unemployed and another 12 million are
considered underemployed. At the same time there is a reported 16% unemployment
rate among Whites and Asians, 28%
unemployment among Hispanics, and over 32% such unemployment among
Blacks in Washington, D.C. The figure of underemployment in Ward 8
alone is estimated at 38 percent. These real numbers have
provided an increased focus by the Obama Administration to focus on the
"how" of creating jobs in an ever expanding 'green' economy that
includes all citizens here and among our world
neighbors.
In
this movement of CEO Space by world leaders is addressing the restructuring of our
global economies there is the constant drum beat of jobs with a special
emphasis on 'green' jobs while addressing the consequences of severe climate
change. Even with over one [1]
trillion US$ ($1,000,000,000,000.00) invested by the American government
in the United States alone to support the economy and reduce the lost
of jobs over 15,000,000 Americans and countless
hundreds of millions overseas are jobless or working well below their
human potential with a continued loss of employment opportunities while
violent weather events continue to increase.
As you may know EmeraldPlanet is
a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to identifying at least
1,000 'best practices' for sustainable environmental and economic
development. Our efforts are to link those having such "best
practices" with those needing the technologies, processes, services, and
products to be outstanding ecological stewards of their resources. Please support The Emerald Planet Television and The Emerald Trek through your generous donations of US$25, US$50, or US$100. Click the donations button to make your contributions now!
THANK YOU AS TOGETHER WE CREATE THE EMERALDPLANET!
