ASIRT (The Association
for Safe International Road Travel) was founded in 1995 in response to a bus
crash in Turkey in which Aron Sobel, a twenty-five year old senior medical
school student was killed, along with 22 others. ASIRT is a leading United States
based international road safety organization dedicated to improving global road
safety through education and advocacy. Working under the premise that
road crashes are predictable and preventable, ASIRT serves the global community
to help reduce injuries, deaths, along with the associated negative social and
economic impacts.
ASIRT partners with
organizations and government agencies on road safety initiatives in
targeted countries. It also works with United States
embassies and businesses in focus countries, partnering with local governmental
and non-governmental organizations, to develop sustainable
locally-based road safety initiatives. ASIRT creates, develops and mentors
road safety NGOs and partnerships, working in individual countries and on a
regional level. ASIRT works directly with the some 168+/- international
Embassies located in Washington, D.C. for the United States and official
representatives of all nations of the United Nations in New York, USA.
Julie Edwards is a
Holistic Life coach and President of her own company who helps women and their
families holistically improve the quality of their lives, health, and image
from the inside out utilizing natural resources. Julie specializes
in coaching her clientele to achieve ultimate vibrancy, health, and success
first in their mind, body, and image. She then utilizes such inner
confidence and strength to attract opportunities that lead to vibrant success
in their own businesses and personal relationships. It is through
this process of successful living from the inside out that her clients achieve
a level of personal success which has the potential for lasting a lifetime
while creating the most positive effect on the people around them.
Julie has spent 26
years in business as a Licensed Holistic Esthetician, Herbalist, and
Professional Makeup Artist. She recently formulated and launched the first
mineral-based line of cosmetics called “Color and Soul Mineral Cosmetics” made for
Women Of Color. After a successful career in the beauty and alternative
health industry, Julie now coaches other people to achieve the same success.
Her company is dedicated to the empowerment of women around the world
through entrepreneurship to achieve the highest level of success for the
benefit of their families, communities, and country.
