Program Summary:
It is a great honor to
introduce three outstanding leaders in the automotive industry for this coming
Sunday, January 17th, 2010 television Program. Continuing our themes of
advanced technological change to address the critical issues of violent climate
change and the need for alternative renewable energy usage in personal and
public transportation this year's International Auto Show has adopted the
theme of "CHANGE HAPPENS HERE". Through this theme 65,000
square feet (6,500 square meters) of showroom space has been established in
Washington, D.C. USA to feature "The Advanced Technology
SuperHighway". This will be the world's largest collection of
advanced renewable powered and highly energy efficient automobiles on the
planet.
This theme will be highlighting all the major domestic and international
automotive manufacturers to share the latest creations. Creations which
are already being sold in the world's automobile markets or will soon be
available. The sustainability advancements in electric, diesel, natural
gas, advanced petroleum, biofuels, ethanol, hydrogen fuels along with enhanced safety features lends importance
to the International Auto Show. Displaying more green cars than any other
international, tier-one auto show, The Washington Auto Show's Advanced
Technology SuperHighway will give our viewing audiences the opportunity to
learn more about the progressive innovations developed by domestic and
international automotive manufacturers. The special exhibits of automobiles are
being offered in coordination with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, United States Department of Energy,
and the United States Department of
Transportation, along with many of the Embassies representing manufacturing
nations. This combination of manufacturers, American agencies, and
foreign governments will weave a powerful story of why the viewing
audiences should participate in the Show to learn first hand why "Change
Happens Here".
