Program Summary:

The EmeraldPlanet program for February 21st will share valuable insights to our world-wide viewers on how the Internet is shaping societies in the 21st Century.  Considered one of the greatest innovations possibly exceeding  industrialization in the 19th and 20 centuries the Internet has evolved over the past 40 years to impact every aspect of our lives.  The topics new world economy include the latest processes, techniques, and technologies that are bringing even greater innovations to education, health care, telecommunications,  banking, manufacturing, and every other endeavour of human society as "best practices" to expand the new World 'green' economy. 

 

These topics will be covered by three outstanding leaders in 'green' technologies. Our guests have created their own international organizations to provide Internet based telecommunications and broadband services that greatly increases operational efficiencies, reduces costs, and expands niche markets locally and internationally. 

These three international experts will put a personal voice and face to the phenomena of 'green' IT in business and environmental quality development around the globe while addressing these issues through their experiences in the United States.  

 

With this focus on the Internet technological innovation over the past 40 years combined with emerging government policies, increasing energy prices, demand for greater worker efficiencies, and 'green' jobs creation here and abroad our three guests will discuss their roles of creating leading edge organizations on The EmeraldPlanet television program this Sunday, February 21st.  As you may know EmeraldPlanet is a world-wide non-profit organization dedicated to identifying at least 1,000 'best practices' for sustainable environmental and economic development.  Our efforts are to link those having such "best practices" with those needing the technologies, processes, services, and products to be outstanding ecological stewards of their resources.

This is an on-going series highlighting small-to-medium size organizations with world-wide implications for 'green' jobs with special emphasis upon entrepreneurs who willing create their own paths to success.  They will explain their work singly and collectively abroad in the Indian Subcontinent, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe with insights on how  their organizations contribute to creating opportunities for business creation in the new 'green' economy.  The February 21st program will help explain the Internet, how this relates to 'green' jobs, the type of economic opportunities, where are these opportunities, and what changes do they predict will occur around the globe over the next 12, 36, 60, and more months.
