the National Heritage Foundation. The EmeraldPlanet leadership and
experts work with research institutions, businesses, governments,
universities, health care providers, clean water advocates, funders,
non-government and community based organizations. These efforts are
identifying 1,000 "best practices" to arrest, and reverse, the ravages
of climate change while promoting the development of alternative energy
sources. The world community is engaged through Internet and broadcasts
television programming, publishing, education, research, training, idea
exchanges, competitions, and advocacy.EmeraldPlanet's vision:
- Providing
tools and an Internet platform for linking sustainable development
experts, practitioners, and citizens around the planet
to share development ideas, processes, and technologies providing
ever better quality-of-life conditions for all people
- Encouraging all citizens to contribute their unique

reverse, the negative affects of global climate change.
