e-Marketing Internship
EmeraldPlanet based in America's capital Washington, D.C., is looking for a talented, self-motivated, intelligent, outgoing, and well-organized individual to assist with eMarketing of its outreach and development efforts with Embassies among 143 nations located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, their home countries, and key American businesses, lobbying firms, professional organizations, economic development agencies, and all levels of governments.
Requirements:
- Acute attention to detail;
- Outstanding copy writing skills;
- Basic understanding of search engine technology;
- Basic understanding of managing on line media campaigns;
- Proficient in conducting research on line;
- Knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, FaceBook, YouTube, Twitter, among other social networking sites;
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment;
- Strong communication skills, motivated, creative with the ability to self-manage as a team player who enjoys working in a diverse environment;
- Analyzing and creating keyword targets for potential sponsors and members Search Engine marketing program, with on line research; and creative public service announcements;
- Communicating with potential sponsoring businesses and organizations under the direct supervision of a member of the 'Executive Committee';
- Motivated and creative as a self-starter including working in an environment which emphasis the ability to self-manage;
- Analyzing campaign effectiveness;
The position is open to start immediately and continue throughout the semester for which selected and possibly beyond based upon mutual agreement between the EmeraldPlanet and Intern.
